Welcome Message- Primary Department

Welcome to Al Maha Academy for Boys (Primary). This website aims to give you a snapshot of our primary school, as well as providing important information for the whole school community. We hope that you enjoy your visit and find the website informative and helpful.

The majority of our families live locally to our school but some travel from outside Doha. The primary school currently caters for over 1000 boys. To join our school, students need to pass entrance exams in English, maths and Arabic unless they joined the academy in the KG (Early Years).

All of our staff are committed to providing the best learning opportunities for students in a safe, secure and friendly environment. We aim to provide an excellent internationally recognised education with an Islamic identity. We teach an adapted version of the English National Curriculum in order to meet the unique needs of our students.

We have a strong focus on using technology as a learning tool and the children have access to a wide range of technology, including the use of tablets. All students in year 4 or above are expected to use tablets.

We have high expectations for all of our students and staff. We expect all students to aim high and achieve their full potential academically and with their personal social development both in and out of the school. We have a strong belief in good behaviour and good manners, placing special emphasis on caring for each other and being responsible.

We want all of our students to go on to secondary school where they will be ready to further develop their lifelong love of learning. With a solid foundation in the core skills, they will become confident, successful and responsible citizens for the future.

This website aims to give you a ‘flavour’ of our school, as well as providing regularly updated information for the school community.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find it helpful.
